เร่งการทำงานของ antithrombin III หลายเท่า ยับยั้ง thrombin (IIa) และ factor Xa จึงป้องกันการเกิดลิ่มเลือด; unfractionated ออกฤทธิ์เร็ว ปรับขนาดด้วยการตรวจการแข็งตัว

ป้องกัน/รักษาภาวะลิ่มเลือดอุดตัน (feline arterial thromboembolism, DIC, pulmonary thromboembolism, IMHA thromboprophylaxis) ในสุนัขและแมว^{[1] [2]}

ข้อห้ามใช้ · Contraindications

⚠️ ห้ามในภาวะเลือดออกหรือเสี่ยงเลือดออก; ต้อง monitor (aPTT หรือ anti-Xa); antidote = protamine sulfate; ไม่ให้ IM (hematoma)^[1]

ตรวจ aPTT (เป้าหมาย ~1.5–2 เท่าของ baseline) หรือ anti-Xa; เฝ้าระวังเลือดออก + เกล็ดเลือด^[2]
