• รักษา congestive heart failure จาก myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD) และ dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) ในสุนัข; การศึกษา QUEST แสดงว่าเหนือกว่า benazepril; ชะลอการเกิด CHF ในระยะ preclinical (EPIC study)^{[2] [1]}

• ห้ามใช้ในภาวะที่การเพิ่มแรงบีบหัวใจเป็นอันตราย เช่น hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with outflow obstruction; ใช้ในแมวเป็น off-label^[1]
