Gonadorelin (GnRH)

GnRH สังเคราะห์ (decapeptide เหมือนของธรรมชาติ) กระตุ้นต่อมใต้สมองส่วนหน้าให้หลั่ง LH และ FSH — ใช้ขนาดเดี่ยว/เป็นพัก ๆ (ต่างจาก deslorelin ที่กระตุ้นต่อเนื่องเพื่อกด)

• รักษา ovarian follicular cyst (เด่นในโค), เหนี่ยวนำ/จับเวลา ovulation, ประเมินการทำงานของ pituitary-gonadal axis; ใช้ในสุนัข/แมวแบบ off-label สำหรับ cystic ovary และ ovulation timing^{[1] [2]}

• ผลขึ้นกับจังหวะการให้ (single vs pulsatile); ประสิทธิภาพในสัตว์เล็กผันแปร; ปลอดภัยสูง (สุนัขทน 72 mcg/kg/วัน IV 15 วันไม่มีผลเสีย)^[1]

• ผลข้างเคียงน้อยมาก; อาจมีปฏิกิริยาบริเวณฉีดเล็กน้อย^[1]
