Fluoxetine

ยา SSRI ยับยั้งการเก็บกลับ serotonin เพิ่มระดับ serotonin ใน synapse; ใช้รักษาปัญหาพฤติกรรม ออกฤทธิ์เต็มที่ต้องใช้ 4–6 สัปดาห์

• รักษาปัญหาพฤติกรรม: separation anxiety (มีรูปแบบรับรอง FDA = Reconcile), compulsive disorder, urine marking, aggression; ใช้ร่วมกับ behavior modification^{[1] [2]}

• ห้ามใช้ร่วม MAOI/ยา serotonergic อื่น (เสี่ยง serotonin syndrome); ระวังในโรคลมชัก (ลด seizure threshold), ตับ/ไตบกพร่อง^[1]

• เบื่ออาหาร (พบบ่อยช่วงแรก), ง่วงซึม/กระสับกระส่าย, GI upset; ออกฤทธิ์เต็มที่ช้า (4–6 สัปดาห์)^[1]
