ยาหยอดตา anticholinergic ออกฤทธิ์สั้น ปิดกั้น muscarinic receptor ของกล้ามเนื้อ iris sphincter ทำให้รูม่านตาขยาย (mydriasis); ใช้ขยายม่านตาเพื่อตรวจจอประสาทตา
ข้อบ่งใช้ · Indications
- ขยายรูม่านตาเพื่อการตรวจจอประสาทตา (fundic exam) และ cataract evaluation; ออกฤทธิ์สั้น (4–8 ชม.) จึงเหมาะการวินิจฉัยมากกว่า atropine ที่ออกฤทธิ์ยาว[1]
ข้อห้ามใช้ · Contraindications
- ⚠️ ห้าม/ระวังมากในสัตว์ที่มีหรือเสี่ยง glaucoma (การขยายม่านตาเพิ่มความดันลูกตา); ใช้เฉพาะที่[1]

- แสบตาชั่วคราว, น้ำลายไหล (จากรสขมที่ไหลผ่าน nasolacrimal duct โดยเฉพาะแมว); เพิ่มความดันลูกตาในสัตว์เสี่ยง glaucoma[1]
