ข้อบ่งใช้ · Indications
- ควบคุมภาวะชักเฉียบพลัน (status epilepticus), co-induction ร่วม ketamine, premedication, และคลายกล้ามเนื้อ[1]
ข้อห้ามใช้ · Contraindications
- ระวังในสัตว์ตับบกพร่อง; ⚠️ ในแมวการให้ diazepam กินซ้ำสัมพันธ์กับภาวะตับวายเฉียบพลัน (idiosyncratic hepatic necrosis); หลีกเลี่ยง IM (ดูดซึมไม่แน่นอน + เจ็บ)[1]

- ง่วงซึม, ataxia, paradoxical excitement; ⚠️ feline idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity จากการกินซ้ำ; กดการหายใจเมื่อใช้ร่วมยากดประสาทอื่น[1]
